chnage the field documentation in to German language

Hi,

I have created on data element and maintain the documentation of this data element in EN.

so while i am using f1 for the filed in run time, i can able to see the documentation in EN.

But could anyone let me know how to see the documentation in DE for a particular data element , while pressing f1during run time.

Hi,

just login to SAP using DE language at logon screen.

hi Rakshar,

in menu bar under GOTO we have option called Translation ,

so when log in with language EN

Click on translations --> select target language as German and click on okay then u will redirect to There enter DE language and click on save

once log in with DE , the short desc or field lable will display in DE

if u got status message like Entry Object list ,then open se11 in new secession then it wont come

Let me know if it is not solved

The above solution what you suggest that is done.

But my Issue was diffrent.

actually :- I have to maintain the description of the field for F1 in EN and DE .

that i have done through goto-> Documentation->change for a particular field. But it is EN

So that whille you will maintain a filed in selection screen , in out put if you will press F1 on the filed you can see the description

in En.

the similar thing i want to do in DE also. But while trying in DE, i am able to see the DE description there.

But i want maintain the description in DE also, which i am not able to maintain.

Hi Rakshar ,

Do like this

I created a Data Element zlang and maintained languages as I said earlier ,

after that I create I report program I give this this is parameter : p_lang type zlang.

in attributes : selection Text tab I click data from Dictionary Check box and select maintain Original Language

then I log in with EN and Execute the report program , then I get text in English

and Again I log in with DE and execute the report program , then I get text in DE .

In the translation maintain All 5 text areas like DDTEXT, REPTTEXT,SCRTEXT_L,SCRTEXT_M,SCRTEXT_S.

Defiantly you problem will be solved , if not let me know once

in se63 i maintain the source accpet text.
