Error Encountered in workflows

Hi,

I'm encountering the error, "You are not one of the possible agents of the task", everytime i execute one of my interfaces that is using workflows. This error is occuring during the call for the workflow by the function module, "SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW". I checked the workflow that was created for this interface and the agent assignment is set to general task, the same goes for the standard task of the workflow. Please Advise.
