Termination error while creating and saving Work Order from a Notification

Hi All,

While creating Work Order from a Maintenance Notification, we get a error message "Update Termination OPROL Initial Number". This happens even while creating Maintenance Notification & Work Order separately and assigning the Notification in the Objects tab of the Order subsequently.

Could any body please help in this issue.

Thanks,

SS

    Hi Sharmaji

This kind of message comes when data base update fails. This is basically due to prevent duplicate number in the data base. Check the number range of your order (or notifcations as the case may be in your case) which might have exhausted. Number range you have to extend it through T code SNRO. Check & reply if any further help is required. Go to SNRO with number range object AUFTRAG , click on Number ranges tab then it will show a screen where you can see intervals & status. You have to extend it through intervals.
