Problem with SLD configuration

Hi,

Am trying to configure the SLD of my WAS system.

I did the CIM import and am now trying to add a system in the technical landscape.

I selected New Technical System--> Web AS ABAP.

I filled in the SID of the system as DEV and other details. Then for the Message server Host Name, if I enter <b>DEV.<Mylocal domain>.com</b>, which is the domain name of the message server, it seems to be stripping off the rest of the name after the first dot[.] The same is for the <b>Central Application Server Host Name</b> too. So when I click next and come back to this screen, what remains in the Message server host name field is just 'DEV'. For this reason the JCO destination based on this technical sytem for WebDynpro gives error when I test the connection.

Could some one provide a solution for this?
