    Hi

Indirect Evaluation is a method to calculate the eligible amounts for some of the wage

types. INVAL is the Indirect Evaluation Module used to meet the Indian specific business

requirements. INVAL calculates the eligible amounts for certain wage types that are

defaulted into the Basic Pay infotype (0008) or entered in the Recur.

Payments/Deductions infotype (0014) and the Additional Payments infotype (0015).

    Thanks

      Hi

INVAL is one of the methods used for the calculation of wage types in SAP HCM.

INVAL is specific to Indian Payroll.

In the Indian Payroll there are few wage types in which the value is given directly and there are other wage types that depend on the other wage types for their existence.

For example : The basic pay of the employee can be fixed where the value can be given directly. The Module variant taken here is INVAL A

The Provident fund is 12% of the basic pay and has to depend on the basic pay for Existence. The module variant taken here will be INVAL B. ie the value taken as a percentage of a fixed amount.

INVAL C is valuation taken from % of a fixed amount subject to a limit. ie whatever the derived value is from a % of the other wage type the amount should not cross a fixed limit. for eg the medical allowance in indian salary should not cross Rs 1250 per month. (generally INVAL A can be taken for this wagetype but if you wish to go for a calculation the derived amount will be limited to 1250 here)

I Hope i am clear with the explanation.

INVAL has to be taken whenever we are having to configure the Indian salary, for any of the wage type groups 0008.0014,0015 etc.

      All the best to you

      Regards

      RR

    Hi,

INVAL if u using v_t511 INVAL mode A then u should maintain fixed amount for that wage type v_t510

INVAL mode B then u should maintain percent valuation base table v_t539j

INVAL mode C then u should maintain percent with limit V_T7INA9.

    Thanks&regards
