Heres a picture of my situation so you can get a better grasp it and not get confused:

I need to get rid of the top part from my picture which is the header if subreport is blank. I cant seem to figure out how to do that. Also, the comments for: person line needs to disappear if subreport isblank and that is a section after details and it also contains the subreport.

Heres some details on what ive done so far:

1. ive used supress section if blank on subreport which leaves the sections that are shown in the picture.

2. I've tried to get rid of blank spaces by suppressing blank sections and its worked but i have a problem with supressing the section the comments subreport is in if the subreport is not appearing.
