I want to know how to pull the next inspection date field in UD screen

u need to extraxt the field in UD screen, for that u need to use user exit.

Enter "inspection interval" time in QM view of material master. So system will update Next inspection date = GR date + inspection interval time

Guess GR date = 01.Jan.2012

Inspection interval in QM view - Material master = 31 days

System will update next inspection date = 01.Feb.2012

But the scenario comes mostly for the reccuring inspection. If the material is batch managed you can activate the 09 inspection type in the material master inspection set up and the inspection interval for the material. For the reccuring inspection you can trigger the lot using QA07 or you can plan it in the back ground.
