MAil adapter alternative

Dear all,

My requirement is that we need to read attachment in the mail,read the content of the attachment and send it to proxy.

I know this functionality can be achieved using mail adapter,due to security reasons ,we were asked to find alternative.

Pls let me know how to achieve this functionality.

Hi,

you can also receive e-mails using SOAP adapter (axis) - there is a class to receive e-mails there which you can extend to do anything

Can you give us more details about the security issues? So that we can able to suggest you better alternative.

It is communicated to us that Client our doesn't want to use Mail Adapter.

Pls let me know if there is a way to achieve this.
