Hi,

Ask your user to look in his spam mail directory. I've seen very often mails sent from a SAP system considered as spam by Outlook...

If your SAP system is running on Windows, check the antivirus which may block any outcoming mails.

Just 2 ideas...

Dear Nana,

Regarding the 4 hour delay kindly note that majorly it is due to Timezone settings.

Please check in transaction STZAC what is the value defined for System Time Zone and User's Default Time Zone.

Can check the OS Timezone with report RSDBTIME.

There would be probably 4 hours difference between System Time Zone and User's Default Time Zone.

If you ensure that your User, SAP system and OS timezone are set the same and your issue should be resolved.

However, also refer the following SAP Note:

1015628 - Documents with status 'Send time is not yet reached'

Hello,

on ST22 i found these dumps :

Error analysis

After a specific time, the program is terminated to make the work area

available to other users who may be waiting.

This is to prevent a work area being blocked unnecessarily long by, for

example:

- Endless loops (DO, WHILE, ...),

- Database accesses with a large result set

- Database accesses without a suitable index (full table scan)

The maximum runtime of a program is limited by the system profile

parameter "rdisp/max_wprun_time". The current setting is 800 seconds. If this

time limit is

exceeded, the system attempts to cancel any running SQL statement or

signals the ABAP processor to stop the running program. Then the system

waits another 60 seconds maximum. If the program is then still active,

the work process is restarted.

THanks in advance for your help.

Hello nana,

It might be due to program which run in background for fetch data from SAP server to SMTP server.

Can you check that program frequency.

Hi Nana, Check if other users are receiving the emails without any delay. If issue is with this user only, ask him to confirm if he receives other emails on time, Sometimes delay may occur with his email server.

Also check other mails more than 4 MB size in SOST and try to check with that user if he received the email on time after the mail is sent from SAP.

You can find more details about the email sending reffering to SAP Note 455140.

Thank you Suresh

No he is the only one who has the right to receive this mail.

FYI : i maked a test yesterday at 18:30, i sent a test mail to this user with attachment(size over thant 6Mb) and he has received on time.and this morning i sent the same mail with same attachment and he received it on the time.

then i think that the problem is related to this mail only(automatic mail).

do you have any idea please when i can found the priority of this mail or the parameters of the sending this mail ?

i think that this mail wait for an event or.. at 18:00, i think that this problem is related to the parameters of sending this mail (priority, wait time..) but i don't know where i can found the all information related to this automatic mail.

Thanks a lot in advance

Dear nana,

Yes I meant the same Job you mentioned.

The auto reaction method for sending the e-mail starts at most five minutes after the alert occurs. However, there can be a delay before the email is sent to external addresses (that is, addresses of users that are not defined in client 000 or in the SAP R/3 System), depending on the settings in SAPconnect. You should therefore set the period for the SAPconnect send process to less than an hour.

Please read this link and check everything properly:
