Document Header Field Control

Dear Forum Members,

I wanted to clarify that what controls the document header field status (other than document type to controll documnet date, posting date, company code, ledger group, doc type, exchange currency, transalation date to make suppress, required, optional). noramlly FSV will control only line item fields.

More fields of BKPF are controlled for document header level by using Validation at OB28 and Substitution at OBBH.

And few more fields controls are available at Editing opitons but only to log in user

example: please go to f-02 screen & click f9

activate Postings in local currency only button then come back to f-02 screen u can see the effect
