Multi Planning Area

Hi

I am using the multi planning area on actual and plan data cubes planning areas for planning. Some of the characteristics that I am planning on are navigational attributes in the actual's cube and characteristics in planning cube. When I try to read the actual data in the layout created on multi planning area, I am not able to do the same, it may be because the characteristic is there as attribute. How can get the actual data in the layout in this case from actual's cube.
