Part Time Work Schedules


Hi All

I am attempting to sort out the nightmare that is 7000+ work schedules in our organisation and plan to use the p0007-empct field to record part time employees. From what I can see we should be able to condense the work schedules into a few standard working hours e.g. inside/outside London and control the part time/compressed hours with a combination of the empct field and substitution records. However I have been told that it is not advisable to use this field but have not been given any justification as to why.

Is anyone aware of any restrictions/problems with this field that would hamper it's use.
