Aplication Component doesn't exist on source

Hi,

i'm transporting some extractors from CRMD to CRMT, some of them are on Application Component 0BW_DATASOURCES, and some are on 0_BW_DATASOURCES->ROOT

The problem is that neither of the A.C. exist on the destination system, and i don't know how to transport it. Plus, some of the extractors works perfect but i can't activate it again because of the A.C.

thanks for any help.

Hi Juan,

May be you need to transport teh application component hierarchy too (RSA9)...

Could this be due to BW Adapter settings?

what is the application component hierarchy ?

what i'm doing is trying to transport from SE03, selecting Application Component as type of object and selecting 0BW_DATASOURCES, but it doesn't find the object.

and this is on CRM i don't know about a BW adapter

juan,

i don't if this is true with CRM (as it does in BW), but did you try using SE03 to add the object R3TR DSAA APCO_MERGED into a request and then transport it?

You can try Ryan's idea. I have another way of doing this.

Goto RSA6 in the CRM box. Right-click on 0BW_DATASOURCES and choose 'Create Node' and give a name to the new node. After this, click on the 'Save' button at the top of the screen. When you do this, it will ask you to specify a transport request.

After this, you can remove this node and transport the hierarchy in the request.

This should solve your problem.
