PGI without shipping point

Hello guys,

I know we can not create delivery document without shipping point. In some cases here at my client, delivery document is getting generated without shipping point. In sales order we have plant , item category group is LUMF. Now please suggest how this could happen. As for the concerned material loading group and shipping condition is missing. which makes shipping point absent from sales order. Inspite of this , this item is appearing in VL01N.. how can this happen..?

Please suggest.

Regards,

    It really strange!

As per standard, being Shipping Point as Highest Organizational Structure in Shipping. It's not possible to have delivery w/o shipping point. And thats not standard behaviour.

If you have that kind of scenario mapped on your system. I would request you to share full process scenario with us.

    Regards

    Hello,

As you know, It is not possible to create a delivery without having a shipping point, as it is the highest level in LE.

If it is an enevitable scenarion, then think of third party order processing (I don't mean the exact third party process, but you can think of for sure).
