Problem in accessing portal from the Internet.

hi all,

My portal application is working fine in the local intranet but when i access the portal from a outside network I am able to see the portal contents but not able to view the webdynpro iviews.

Instead of the webdynpro page I am getting the following error..

We can not connect to the server you have requested.

This means that:

The server might be busy at this time.

The server is not reachable.

Please try later to see if you can go through.

what might be the problem?How do we solve it ?

If you are proxying your portal over port 80, the web dynpro still may be running and trying to connect directly to the WAS Server (instead of going through the proxy) on a different port -- ie. 50000 -- and this port may be closed in your external firewall.
