SAP uses 3 decimal places for any unit. You can only hide the decimal places (through CUNI by blanking out "Decimal Places" and "Decimal pl rounding"). Then it won't display xxx.000 etc it will display like whole number xxx but if a user creates reservation or puts stock in inventory with decimal places SAP won't prevent it (eg: xxx.234)

    • if you have chosen the right base unit of measure, then no user would get the idea to post only a fraction of a PC.

a wheel for a car would be a PC, nobody would ever get the idea to issue only a half wheel.

but if you defined a box with 10 screws with unit PC, then it is more than understandable that a user tries to issue 0.1 PC if he takes just one screw.

You can check and stop posting via user exit EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
