Restore OS Backup

Hi All,

Below is the details of System Landscape.

Application : CE7.1 EHP1, SOURCING7.0

OS : Windows 2008

DB : Oracle 11.2

As per the sap best practice document, Our Systems team is taking Full OS Backup and using NetApp as backup tool.

We need to understand, How to bring back Sourcing App in the event of a failure?

We have sourcing app installed and do take regular OS back up.

Would like to understand how to recover application from the backed up OS files. Will there be any issues with Windows registry settings when we try for a recovery from backed up OS.
