Eligibility amount not calculating in HRA

Hi Expert,

for IT581 if i maintain the rent amount (01.04.2011) and go for a overview its showing eligibility amount HRA/CLA is zero for emp no xxx on 01.04.2011

why edibility amount is not calculating , what r the criteria should i look for

In IT0581 we can maintain the rent amount paid by the employee.How come it will show the eligibility is 0,Just change the IT0581 and check how much amount u can see in IT581.

check emp DOJ is aftr 01.04.2011 mth

employees DOJ is 1.12.2010.

IT581 is updated on 01.04.209, then 01.06.2011 and now 1.04.2011 . pervious updation its showing the eligibility amount only for 1.4.2011 is giving as zero

after chaning the amount, or entering the amount please save. then you can see.
