How to do mass upload of demand through BAPI

Dear Gurus,

I have a requirement with my user.Every month he need to upload around 8000 materials demand.

Can we do it through BAPI ?

And a function module BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_CREATE.

Can you tell me the procedure to upload the data through an excel sheet through BAPI.

Need your help with explaination.
