Hi,
We are trying to implement an AS2 based integration using the Seeburger adapters. We are going to request a synchronous MDN from the target system. As part of the error handling for this scenario, we would like to raise an email alert if the MDN is not returned for an outbound message.
I have read all the Seeburger guides and have trawled through the forums, but I am unable to find out if the standard Seeburger AS2 adapter or the Seeburger Workbench offers this functionality.
I have read that standard ALM alerts can be set up in PI and configured to trigger in the comm channel settings. But will these trigger if the MDN is not received?
Any help / advice provided would be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
Manish

I guess No. When MDN is not received, the status in Seeburger Workbench is either Waiting or Timeout. In both the cases, the Runtime Workbench shows the message as Successful and therefore PI standard alert won't be raised.
Need to check but if you can find some scripting option in Seeburger Workbench, it will help you in configuring some custom alerts.
