Problem to logon via webbrowser to mySAP e-recruiting

Former Member

Hi,

I did Google the whole web to find a solution for the following problem. I hope anyone of you can help me:

We installed mySAP e-recruiting 300 with the actual service packs in our SAP-System (SAP ERP Central Component 5.0) using the integrated webserver 6.40.

We did all of the necessary customizing.

The problem is: When I like to login as an external candidate via the url I created with the report RCF_GENERATE_URLS the browser shows me the login screen. After I entered the correct login data the screen is showed again... and so on...

It is possible for the user to login into the system via the SAPGUI. He has the role SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE.

This problem occurs also when I tried to login as a internal candidate, administrator...

The System works fine when I call the Candidate Registration (HRRCF_CAND_REG) all is working fine and a user is created in the system, which can create a application and can change his stetting. When I close the browser, the user is logged of.

I already checked all OSS. The profile parameters login/accept_sso2_ticket and login/create_sso2_ticket of the Web Application Server are both set to 1. (according the OSS 595109).

Does anyone has a solution for this problem?

Thank you very much for your help.

Philipp

Hi everyone-

It doesn't sound like an SP10 problem to me. I've used SP10 on multiple systems and it works great every time.

I've seen this issue before, but I can't remember what I did to resolve it. I would suggest starting with the basics. For example, go back into SICF and make sure all of the appropriate services are active and all of the necessary E-Recruiting services have the reference users assigned with the appropriate roles.

Next, as was already mentioned, make sure the SSO flags are set.

Lastly, feel free to provide an example URL, so that I can check my system and share the service logon details (obviously omitting your server name).

Good luck

Jon

Hi,

you have SP10? You need to upgrade to SP11 ->797297.

But caution: you have to check 779502.

Hi,

the general problem is the following:

connecting a bsp-application to the logon-scenario provided by the system application does not work on 6.40 as it does under 6.20. the login.htm does no redirect to page defined in the sicf node.

Best regards,

Stefan

Hi Philipp,

please apply the newest version of SAP note 779502. This should fix your problem.

Hi Rainer,

thank you for your reply, but it didn't fixed my problem. Do you think it could be a problem of the SSO?

To test SSO2 cookie, look at the BSP application SYSTEM, there is a page called TestSSO2Cookie or something like that. Follow all onscreen instructions.

Probably reasons:

(*) Server is not issueing a cookie

(*) You already have a SSO2 cookie server did not accept (no trusted relationship)

(*) You browser is refusing to run with the cookie

If you should fail to resolve this, please open a OSS ticket with full detail for us to reproduce the problem. If possible, include a HTTP proxy trace. It makes all the difference!
