Hi,
I had installed SAP MDM Data Manager (mdm-data-manager-7.1.07.234-win32 - application) in my Company Laptop. The installation was successful.
I had connected my company Laptop to client Lan network & trying to Launch SAP MDM Data Manager. On clicking the SAP MDM Data Manager Shortcut which is available in the Desktop nothing is happening. I am not able to Launch / open SAP MDM Data Manager in my laptop. I am using Window 7 edition. Other than this I can open other websites site like Google etc.
Other colleagues of mine can Launch SAP MDM Data Manager in the same Lan network.
Please advise to rectify this issue.

Similar kind of issue i had faced around 6 month back.
Check you are able to access MDM Console but not any other tool
This is related with your Network/Routing setting. Nothing to do with Windows or MDM data manager version.
Check with your network team if able to ping the MDS server ?

Also dont forget to tick the checkbox while installation, all user's or current user.

Here are my findings u2013
1) Uninstall SAP MDM Data Manager
2) Install a fresh setup of SAP MDM Data Manager. Click the checkbox all users during installation. I have admin rights in my Laptop. Restarted my laptop again.
3) Remove the client LAN from the network (offline mode).
4) On clicking the SAP MDM Data Manager shortcut which is available in the Desktop or run as Administrator (right click on SAP MDM Data Manager shortcut) I am able to connect to MDM Repository/ login screen. Since I am not connected in LAN I cannot enter username and password to connect to SAP MDM repository.
5) If I connect my client LAN in laptop, on clicking the SAP MDM Data Manager shortcut which is available in the Desktop or run as Administrator (right click on SAP MDM Data Manager shortcut) nothing is happening. I am not able to Launch MDM Data manager login screen / open SAP MDM Data Manager.
Please advise to rectify this issue.

As told by Deep, try to run it as Administrator, if still there is no success, then un-install and install it with Administrator Rights and then run as Administrator.

Delete the installation from add and remove ie control panel,
and install a fresh setup, this should solve the problem.

Can you try and run it as "Run as Administrator" ? revert back with your findings.
