Setting lock timeout and max.. number of versions?

Hello,

anybody knows if it's possible to set a timeout for the locked resources. We need to set a timeout so when a user locks a documents for edition, this can be unlocked automatically if the users does not remeber to unlock it himself.

On the other side we also need to know if it's possible to set a maximum number of versions for a document, so when this number is reached the older versions are deleted.
