EWA Configuration In SolMan 7.1

Dear Gurus,

Greetings...

We implemented Solution Manager 7.1 in our landscape and we need to configure EWA for our production Systems.

Can any one guide me how to configure Early Watch Alerts.

Hi dmreddy,

For detail step & procedure, please refer to the configuration guide posted above. However, you can refer to the below for overview:

1) Complete the system preparation, basis configuration setup in solman_setup

2) assign the correct Product for your satellite system -> SMSY, LMDB, SLD

3) assign your satellite system created to logical component

4) Create a solution landscape and assign logical component to the it.

3) Activate SDCCN for solman and satellite

4) go managed system configuration to configure your satellite systems.

However, please go thru the configuration guide for deeper understanding.

Thanks for the Reply,

I already have gone through the configuration guide. but i didn't find any solution regarding the EWA.

Also I completed the System Preparation and Basic Configuration Setup in My Solman System.

I need some info reg how to Activate SDCCN for solman and Satellite Systems.

...In the same way you 'installed' the Solution Manager 7.1 i.e. by Referring the SAP guides available at OSS.

You must had downloaded the 'Installation Guide' from OSS to 'install' the solman, similarly you will have to download the 'Configuration Guide' from OSS to 'Configure' the Solman.
