SAP Note: 130906 DEV System refresh

Hi,

I want to refresh our DEV server with PRD data. I have seen note 130906. But i'm unable to understand the commands given for R3trans in this note. Like it says create a control file...now how do i create this control file. I guess this process is not clearly defined in htis note. Can some one give me the details of this activity .Any help will be much apprecited.

Hello,

I think you are not in 'SAP Basis' but in some functional module. Better to ask your SAP Basis team to carry out the procedure mentioned in the SAP Note 130906.

Even if you want to try it out, you should have access to OS level for DEV. Control file creation and all other steps are to be performed at OS level using sidadm user. Try to understand the concept more via SAP Note Note 1942 - How does R3trans work?
