Hello there,
You may find note 1326576 of interest.
Please read the solution for scenario 1 for indications on how must the SMSY definition look like. The SMSY definition is the same for all 4 scenarios.
Best regards,
Miguel Ariñ

Hi,
You can upgrade your FNBASIS component from SAINT. You need to download packages from MOPZ in solution manager.
Thanks

Hello Vardhan,
First of all, you need to download FINBASIS 603 and it's dependent packages from SMP.
Since you are upgrading to 603 from 600, you need to download 602 and 603 delta upgrade packages as well along with latest SP patches of 603. You can download delta upgrade packages of 602 and 603 from the below navigation.
SMP --> Software Downloads --> Installation and Upgrades --> Search for Installation and upgrades --> search term "FINBASIS 602" and "FINBASIS 603".
Once you have downloaded all packages, extract them into ../EPS/in. Then after goto SAINT --> Installation packages > Load packages> From application server.
Note: You can take a look at pre-requisties/import condition of FINBASIS 603 in the download window itself. If you download packages from Solman maintenance optimizer, it will take care of all pre-requisites.
Hope your query is answered.
Thanks,
Siva Kumar

There are dependencies of components and support packages.
The only (proper) way to update the components is to use Solution Manager and MOPZ which will take care of the dependencies.
If you don't use it and install all that manually you can be left with an inconsistent system.
