Hi dear,

I think ur telling about the Tcode MI31 but u have given in ur query as ME31...

In the very same screen see the control block there see the field Max. No. Items/Doc.: change that to 100 or what ever u want.

Thanks

Hi Pranav,

You are right this fiels is changeable. But when I changed the number in 99999 I got the followimg error "Maximum number of items reached". Then write inthe field of "Max. No. Items/Doc." 300.

In this way you can only create a physical inventory document that contain maximum 300 items. The system creates a new document for the remaining items when 300 is reached, until all materials have been recorded in physical inventory documents.

But I have to create one inventory document that contain all of materials in related warehouse.

the maximum number of items in a physical inventory document (PID) is 333,

this is because of a technical limitation of item lines in an accounting document.

the item number length for accounting document is 3, whihc means max 999 items in an accounting doc.

SAP has to assume that any of your items in a PID can have a difference, any difference can potentially create 3 accounting lines. hence the limit is 333.

Who is saying that you have to have all items in one document?

Dear All,

I am also facing this kind of issue. Like, when I have to create ınventory document for all materials/article throughout the relevant Site/ warehouse in ME31, I can use max 333 no of items/ article in a single doc, so how to increase from 333 to 666 or 999. if it is possible please share the process. I am using SAP ECC6
