BEx Analyzer pop up message not working when double clicked

Hi Gurus,

I am using GUI 7.20. When messages are displayed in the status bar it can be seen by double clicking on it. But it is now showing the messages in a pop up window when double clicked.

I have tried the global settings 'Display messages automatically'. In that case it displays the messages but still it is not showing the messages when double clicked.

Hi Jerry,

BEx Analyzer (version for BW7.0 or higher) does not use SAPGUI anymore, so messages, pop-ups are not send from SAPGUI but from BEx Analyzer (implemented using .NET).

To display messages via double-click on the status bar of Excel only works in Excel 2003, not in Excel 2007 (Excel 2010 I don't know). You can display the messages pop-up using the BExAnlayzer toolbar.

Thanks for the reply. So that means if I am using Excel 2007 I can only display messages using the 'Display messages automatically' check box in the Global settings. Otherwise I have to install Excel 2003. Is it correct ?
