Scarp Mapping.

Dear MM Gurus,

Here I have scenario that getting scrap from production, for that using movement type 531/551, apart from that maintenance scarp getting from plant and capital consumption, so I need map this scrap scenario into SAP. So please advise me which movement type is appropriate?

How to increse scrap stock at stock level?

hi

You can use 521 movement type for such scrap. you can create material with material type UNBW it is a non valuated scrap.

Itu2019s a Valuated Material.

For example: I have 100 kg of (ROH) - Using raw material i have produced FG material and scrap generated 10KG.

After few days I have identified scrap generated 15kg at physically. So extra 5KG scrap stock how to bring into scrap stock.

Because of non scrap stock availability SD scrap sale is not happening deficit of scrap stock.

Hi

In this case if you are using BOM it will generate 10Kg of scrap and will get updated to the stock once FG is producted. and balance of 5KG is excess and also your FG quantity will reduce for which when you are confirming your production order there you will mention this 15 KG of scrap. If you are not using any production order and want to build scrap you can do GR with 521 movement type for the scrap material which will increase the scrap quantity in the storage location and also the value as maintained in material master. Then sales team will raise a sale order and sell this scrap directly.

Hi,The best way is to place this scrap material in your BOM, then u can follow with movement type 531.

You can make unplanned goods movements in Mb31wrt order by movement type 531( Receipt of byproduct into U/r stock).

If this is not possible , ask your PP consultant to add this material in BOM as negative qty.

Then it will be easy for you to receive with 531 movement type, once your stock is increased you can either remove the scrap from sales(from SD module) or through 551 w.r.t. cost center.

Fits thing is that what you want ? your client business requirement ?

You want sale that scrap ? you want to book inventory for that scrap? these are import things.

for same you have to create material code and material type if business required.

If its is valuated ,then you have to do setting in OBYC for same ,if it is not valuated only qty update and if you have already material type with you for qty update then you can continue with that material type and only create new material code .

can you explain in details
