Former Member

Hi

I am planning to take XI3.0 certification and currently got only basic working experience with XI3.0. I would like to know :

1. Is it really required to go thru SAP XI training or I can study myself.

2. What all training material I need to study which is available online.

3. What is the complexity of questions. Some sample questions will be usefull, if you can provide.

4. What topics I need to concentrate more.

5. Any usefull links.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanx in advance

James,

I passed the XI3.0 certification @ SAPTechED back in October without going on the TBIT40-44 course. Just use SAP help and have a system available.

Question can be very petty!

Best of Luck.

Does exam includes questions on Adapter development in detail i.e. the classes required to develop adapters etc.

Hello,

Is it possible to purchase TBIT41, TBIT42, TBIT43 and TBTIT44 without purchasing the TBIT40 (the fundamental XI course)?

I understood that TBIT40 is important however can be fairly easily completed without attending formal classes.

Your comments are welcome.

Thanks,

Gilad

Hi Gilad

you can purchase TBIT44 without purchasing TBIT40 but not TBIT41-TBIT43 as told to me by SAP education

Hi james

U can even prepare for XI certification without TBIT material .

What u need to do is , go through around 700+ pages(word format) of help and download the pdf from sdn and prepare according to the contents of certification already given in the post.

Hope this will help.

Hi

This is in elearning section. There are so many eClasses availbale almost on all area of xi . If u have time u can play those and understand that .that is absolutely free .

well u can visit the following link

https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/developerareas/xi.sdn?page=eL_XI.htm

load all presentation and transcripts from beginers ,Intermidiate and advanced section .

if u r not able to open this link , then open XI section in sdn and go to elearning XI and rightmost column of u r page.

hope this will help.

James,

1. If you have access to XI 3.0 system, then you could do the studying by yourself. However, if certification is also your goal, I would suggest you to go thru' TBIT40 - TBIT44. I am not sure if you could give certification exam without going thru' these courses.

2. help.sap.com is the best. However, for certification, it is suggested to have the training material of online courses TBIT41, 42 and 43 as well.

3. Questions mostly would be from the training material for TBIT 40, 41, 42, 43 & 44. If you study these materials atleast once, you should be able to answers the questions. I don't think anyone would give you sample questions but my suggestion for you, is to go through the course contents well, understand the basics and it should be a piece of cake.

4. This info. is available in SAP Education site. Questions covered would be something like this -> Mapping (20%), Adapters(25%), BPM (25%), Runtime Workbench / Runtime (10%), Design & Config (10%), Basics (10%). This is a very rough idea.

5. I found help.sap.com the best place for all the info. required.

KK, Thanks for the response. Your response is quite usefull to me. I have got training material for TBIT40 and TBIT44.

Do u have any idea how can I get eLearn courses(41-43) because when I contacted SAP, they said these course are available only if you buy the whole package for XI training not individually.

And how much that effect if I don't go thru these.

Thanx, James

James,

41-43 covers Mapping, Adapters and BPM. 60% of the questions are going to be from these chapters and hence its very important.
