Routine help

Hi Experts,

We have a processchain in which APD is included in one step.

In APD, our requirement is to load previous dates data. For this we used a filter condition (calday -1) and it worked fine.

The process chains triggers daily as it is a daily load.

For example

-

If the chain runs on monday and tuesday, in APD on tuesday load it should bring monday's data, if the monday load is successful.

If the process chain got failed on tuesday and wednesday, as of now on thursday it is fetching only wednesday's data, but as tuesday load also got failed, my requirement is to fetch tuesday and wednesday's data also.

Please suggest with your valuable inputs, how to proceed further.

Thanks in advance,

Sai Chand.S

    Hi,

What is the Error message you are getting while loading data through APD.

Did you try to load APD manually, is it working ?

    Thanks,

    Peddi

    Hi Peddi,

    Thanks for ur reply.

My problem is not with data load.

My requirement is to fetch the data based on last successful date.

    For example

    -

01-dec-2011 - load was successful (it brings 30-nov-2011 data as per filter condition calday - 1)

02 -dec-2011 - load failed (due to some reason)

03-dec-2011 - load was successful (it should bring 1st and 2nd data)

    04-dec-2011 - load failed

    05-dec-2011 - load failed

06-dec-2011 - load successful (it should bring 3rd,4th and 5th data)

Please let me know if ur not clear.

    Thanks,

    Sai Chand.S

      Hi Sai chand,

For this purpose first of all you should know whether last process chain execution was successful or not.

In the routine you will have select data from RSPCPROCESSLOG table to check the previous process chain execution status.

You can select last 10, 15 or 20 entries as per your requirement and then based on the date sorting you can see when was the last successful execution happened.

Once you get that date you can simply calculate how many days of data you need by changing the date range of CALDAY -1.

      Regards,

      Durgesh.

    Hi,

you can change the filter condition for time being and execute the APD manually and not through process chain.

Set back filter setting again back to normal post your data loading activity is complete.

    Thanks and regards

    Kiran
