Customization of Address info, post modification

Hi,

I want to send a notification mail to the users' superior after he/she has changed his/her address detail via portal irrespective of their country.

The Component controller for FcPerAddress has the method void modifyRecord, but there it directly executes infotype node, and the next button action from 'per' dc raises an FPM event. Then how does one set any action?

I was looking to set an action on next which calls an FM where the notification process is managed, however, with the fpm event, I am unable to think further..

Can someone please guide me on how this is done.
