Erro in MM41 in SAP IS Retail Activiation for IDES ECC 6 EHP5

Hello,

I have installed ECC 6 EHP5 ides and have activated IS Retail through SFW5 tcode. After doing that, through note # 897714, i have Activated Retail Short Text Replacement, but still when i'm hitting tcode MM41 i'm getting error as "Retail materials cannot be maintained industry system ", which in turn i bellieve it means Retail system has not been activated.

So is there any else, which we needs to do for start working on this IS Retail?

Any help in this matter, would be appreciated.

Hi,

You have to activate SAP ECC Extensions through SPRO.

if not

did you ever consider looking up the sticky note right on top which is named: SAP IS Retail Switch on manufacturing system?

There is an entry: Second last - Under my name.

There you find links for documents how to set the retail switch. A how to paper.

I'm sure you find an answer in the document.

if not

It was related with the retail patch level and once increase the patch level of EA-Retail to 1 from initially 0 and switched on EA-retail usng TC SFW5 it starts working.

FYI..EA Retail is already on patch level 03..
