Deleting SNP planned orders in APO product view

I can delete SNP planned orders from the APO product view.

But I thought PP/DS was really a tool for PP/DS users, so should NOT allow deletion of SNP orders.

Is there a way of PREVENTING given users from being able to delete SNP planned orders?

Hi,

Do the users need access to change mode in product view?

Else can you block access to change mode in RRP3??

If the above cannot be done you can check out the method NEW_CHANGEABLE_CHECK in BADI /SAPAPO/RRP_IO_COL,

Thanks for your reply.

We want our PP/DS users to be able to change PP/DS related data, but NOT to be able to delete SNP planned orders, ie we want to use the product view as a PP/DS tool, but with the ability to view SNP orders.

Hi,

In method "NEW_DELETION_CHECK" of BADI "/SAPAPO/RRP_IO_COL"

Only for SNP orders (pls explore to identify the order type for SNP as appearing in this exit) set the flags as follows

CV_NEW_LOGIC = X

CV_EXIT = X.

This will prevent deletion of the orders.

This method is called only when some tries to delete an order in RRP3.

Have tested for forecast orders. it works fine.
