Unable to login with SAP* to newly created client in BW powered by HANA

59 Views

Hi,

We have installed a new BW system powered with HANA.

While performing post installation activities, we came across a situation where in we were unable to login to newly created client 900 with user id sap*.

Reason:

The issue here is it is not taking the default password which we had specified during installation.

We also tried setting the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to value 0 followed by sap application restart.

Please note that when i say newly created client it is just an entry in scc4 as we could not proceed with client copy task.

Also i tried deleting sap* user id using below command but it says "insufficient privileges". I ran below command with SYSTEM(super user in HANA) user id in HANA

delete from saphan.usr02 where bname='sap*' and mandt='001';

Will deleting sap* user id solve the issue of login to new client. If so how to delete sap* user id...????

Thanks & Regards,
