I know the meaning of object Type Task And Job

If I dont want to create Task And Job in OM would it have any effect my configuration at all ?

Are Task and Job created only for Information purpose ( as they help in better understanding of position ) or is there any other use of these objects ?

Please guide!

Hi,

Yes, you can do it. using O-S-P relations only i.e Organization, position and person relation ship.

Check you business any integration with Job and Task in future aspects. Other wise go with Org. unit and Positions only.

Hi,

As per my view they both are important because,

Job : Jobs serve as job descriptions that apply to several positions with similar tasks or characteristics. When you create jobs, they are listed in a job catalog. Positions also has to be created in co relation with Job.

Task : Used for workflow. Also, as part of Personnel management it describes jobs and positions.
