Dear All,

One of our plant location was shifted to new location. For address changes we had created new Plant Code for new location.

Is there any other option for change the address in EXISTING PLANT CODE without create new plant.

Note: We are using the Plant Address for Invoice printout. And for legal purpose we need the old address also.

Pl. guide us.

Regards,

Sarran

Hi,

I hope if you take old invoice print, system will get the new plant address. System picks the address based on ADRNR,once you update the plant address system will update the same ADRNR it will not generate another ADRNR for updation,so new address only will come into the old invoices.

Hello Sarran,

Your Question:

OK, If required old Invoice print out how to handle? pl. help me.

I have already answered it in my above post:

As far as Printing Plant Address in Invoice is concerned, you can insert a ABAP code in Smartform Program to check for the Good Issue Date & print old or new address accordingly.

Hope this clarifies,

Thanks,

Hello,

As in the earlier replys suggested, if the tax numbers and other legal numbers are not changed for the new plant, then change the plant address in the change address option. If you need the old plant address also to be printed along with the new address in the invoice print, then speak to your ABAP team to hard code the old address too in the program/script. So both the address will print. Whenever you want to change the same, they can commnet toe code.

Hi Sarran

If Plant location is in same state then you can chage the address in existing plant where it will not be differ with tax. To change go SPRO IMG>Enterprise Structure->Logistic General---->Define, Check, Copy Plant. Use Position Button to search your plant and select your plant and click on Address Icon at the top. Edit address box will open there you can make the address change. Normally it accepts all kind of changes but it affects on your sales process if plant got shifted to different state.

Thanks and Regards

If the Tax (Excise) registration numbers of the Plant has not changed, then just change the address of the Exixting Plant in system.

As far as Printing Plant Address in Invoice is concerned, you can insert a ABAP code in Smartform Program to check for the Good Issue Date & print old or new address accordingly.

Creating a New Plant will involve all the Configurations that we do in a roll-out (& would be a tough task as mentioned by JP above).

Hope this helps,

Thanks,
