I am working on storage location control settings and below are the settings,
1) Control of Assignment "Plant / Stor.Loc. - Whse Number"
WH: 800
Plant : 0800
Sloc: 8000 ( standard sloc)
Sloc: 8001 ( not to copied in TR),
2) Stor. Location Control in Warehouse Mgmt
WH Storage type Plant Sloc Movement Type Combined posting change
800 K15 0800 8001 411 check box is checked
Now I have created PO for qty=10 and did MIGO,
Stock position in MM,
Sloc=8000 qty=0,
Sloc=8001 qty=10
Stock position in WM,
Storage type: 902, against plant=0800+ sloc=8001 qty=10, while against plant=0800+ sloc=8000 qty=0.
TO is created for destination storage type= K15,
Stock position in both MM remain same as above, while in WM
Storage type: 902, against plant=0800+ sloc=8000 qty=(-10)
TO is confirmed,
Stock position in both MM & WM remain same as above,
Now I processed posting change with LQ01,
Entry in LQ01 was,
Material Plant Sloc Quant Sto type Storage Bin Qty for posting change
3GZF203728-1_RL 0800 8000 12841 MCH MCH1A1 10
After processing LQ01, got an error message as:
Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 10 PC : 3GZF203728-1_RL 0800 8000
So, why this error message is coming, my understanding after reading SAP documentations and other note, material should finally move to standard storage location and in my case it is "8000", but I think system is doing in reverse way it is trying to do posting change and move material from sloc=8000 to sloc=8001.
Could anybody help me out why this is happening?
