Question regarding Item Hierachies in PPS

Hi experts,

When trying to modify my current Hierarchy Template (IMG Activity => "Define Hierarchy Templates and Assign Transaction Types") I am facing the following error:

Hierarchy template ZHIER_SE still in use in active documents; cannot save rule

Currently, such Hierarchy Template is not assigned to any Transaction type...

How can I carry out any modification? Do I have to create a new one?

PD: I have realized that I cand add new lines and modify existing ones but I am not able to delete lines in Define Item Type Control table.

I can create new hier templates, but what I want is modifying an existing one.

Current ZHIER_SE has 3 lines in order to allow outlines + material at first level and only material items in second level.

All in all, I want to remove the material item line at first level. Indeed, I can append new lines to the template and even modify them, but I am not able to remove them :S

How can I deactivate the Hierarchy? I thought that a template would be considered as unactive as soon as it was not linked to any transaction type.

Hello,

Kindly check the SAP Note 1285470 : Hierarchy customizing for transaction types can't be deleted.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately it seems that such note applies to another custo point (it is not exactly what I want).
