Simulate GenLedg leads to error during f-92 retirement.

The issue that looks rather strange for me is the following. (I tried find sth in discussins but no result)

We have assets to retire selling them to customer.

The real case is with several assets, VAT and other lines, but the same is happening with 2 lines I use for the example.

Debit Customer

Credit Revenue Account,

For the second line first I choose u201Cmoreu201D button to enter profit center, then check u2018u2019asset retirementu2019u2019 in order to have the additional window where I enter the asset number, tr type 260 and check full retirement.

Then press u201Cdisplay document overviewu2019 button and I have 2 lines. Go to Simulate I receive the additional automatic lines for asset accounts and I have 5 lines in common. Then press SIMULATE GENERAL LEDGER to see lets say sth important for the user. And here is the problem. After being back from Gen Ledger view, the automatic line items disappeared and no further simulation or other actions are able to reproduce them again. We have 2 variants u2013 both wrong u2013 to post without having asset retired from AA module, or the other is to receive Error message which is

In English - Inconsistent with FI/CO document: different document structures

Message no. AAPO007

but this is because the assets somehow are not taking into account.

I would be glad if you share what it could be the reason for this. Currently, we said to the user not using Gen Ledg view simulation for those kind of transaction (there are few transaction like this), but I am eager to know where the error comes from.

Thank you,

Kristina

I think it is standard funcionality of SAP and it is happening while we select general ledger view and go back. Additional line items were deleted and we need to redo again. So the best way to follow by you is simulate General ledger view and check correctness of values and go back and reenter again and post
