solution manager installation problem with jdk

Installing SOLMAN 7.0 EHP1 on Windows 2003 Server 64-bit OS and x86

processors.

Based on the SAP Note: 0001145779, Solution Manager requires 64-bit

platform to get all services available.

On 64-bit Solman 7.0 EHP1 installation, it requires only JDK with a

minimum version 1.4.2_09 and not equal to or higher than version 5.0.

For the JDK version, 1.4.2, it only supports IA 64 processors for windows

operating system.

Please i need solution where we can use other Intel processors (like

XEON, CORE, etc.) using JAVA JDK on 64-bit MS Windows OS.

Hi,

Download JDK for amd64 version. That you can use for the installation.

Hi,

Since you're on a new installation, Why don't you chose SAP JVM instead?

Note 1495160 - SAP JVM as replacement for Partner JDKs 1.4.2
