Hi All,
How do master data changes get updated in an InfoCube? I made changes to my master data, activated the master data, and can view the changes in the master data table, but the changes are not reflected in the corresponding Infocube even after re-activation of the InfoCube.
Thanks,
GK
George,
If the Attributes of the master data that you have changed are Navigational attributes (Logical Assignment) in the cube, then what you suggest will work.
If they are physically assigned to a infocube (part of a dimension), then the only way I know of is to reload the infocube.

I needed to switch on the Navigational Attributes to see my master data changes!
Thanks everybody!

Hi George,
Even I could not understand your question. if ur question is how to c the changes to the master data reflect in the cube, then the follwong will help you out.
When ever you update the master data, you need to run the Apply hierarchy/sttribute run job. This can be achived from the menu path Tools->Apply hierarchy/sttribute.
When ever you make changes to the master data, then the master data will be in M(Modified) version, so we need to activate it so that it will be in A(Active) version. This is how we activate the master data.

Hi George,
I don't really get your question, but if you are talking about navigational attributes, you need to run the attribute and hierarchy change run after loading master data so that the changes are reflected in the cubes data.
Hope this helps
