Friends,
I maintained planning horizon in OPPQ for 20 days. In MD02 i have taken processing key NETPL.
and in material master of raw material GR processing time is 50 days.
But in MD02 in simulation mode I am seeing system is planning of raw material though i am taking NETPL.
Why? My concept is correct or wrong?
How the bu default planning horizon is taking in MD61? Some confusion is there for me.....
Pl. guide....
Dear Sandy,
The planning horizon is calculated in work days and if my understanding is correct you have given the PIR's for the assembly
or sub-assembly level in MD61 within the planning horizon level defined and check the impact of MRP by selecting the
processing key as NETPL.
After executing MRP for processing key as NETPL,assume the PIR's defined is within the planning horizon the system creates
procurement proposals and if the requirements are outside the planning horizon, then by running MRP with key as NETPL the
system does not creates any procurement proposals.
check and revert back.

Dear Sandy,
The system checks the requirements date for the assembly level only during the planning run with processing key as
NETPL,the system checks the raw material's SMK,planned delivery time or GR processing time of the material master only to
calculate the dates of the purchase requisition for raw materials.
Check and revert back.

Dear Sandy,
check the reply which I have already posted for your query.
Only the requirements that lies within the planning horizon(20 working days) will be considered for the planning run and the
system creates planned orders for the assemblies and purchase requsitions for the raw materials, assuming there is no stock
for these materials(assemblies and raw materials). The requirements that lie outside the planning horizon(maintained in MD61)
will not be considered for the planning run with the processing key as NETPL(which means the system does not creates
planned orders for the assemblies).
