W2 forms issue

HI

When I am trying to run W2 online and back ground, its not generating any forms and magnetic files, how can i reslove this issue, plese provide me the solution

Hello,

First check whether W2 is not producing for 1 or 2 employee's or for all the employee's. If it is for all employee's then check the error list in the Log for the Tax reporter, if it is "Error in generating the PDF form" then check whether your ADS is installed and running. If it is not running for 1 or 2 employee's check whether you are running under correct tax company, whether the employee has tax deducted to be reportable etc.
