Limit dual logins to a company

Is it possible to restrict users to a single login per company database? If not, is there a way to monitor user's second logins to a company database (i.e. list users logged in twice to the same company)?

Hi Barry.........

You can check for how many times user is logged in at a time from

Access Log in SAP........

Go to Tools--> Access Log.

Specify the Date and select any of the user and click on Detail Button at the Right Top.

This functionality is available from SAP 8.81.........

Customer experiences random (several times per day) program error from an add-on product. Environment includes numerous add-ons. Extensive consultation with add-on head developer has produced no solution yet. Some users log in twice on occasion (often by partner support staff). We simply want to test eliminating all second logins by any user to see if there is any change in this error frequency.

The logon information can only be found through B1upf.xml file under license folder. You can run SP_who2 to get all current processes and check against the file to find the 2nd logon.

Hi,

B1 gives the option to allow a user with 2 concurrent sessions. That is needed in certain transactions. What is in your case to block them?

Thanks,

Gordon
