Regarding Solution manager diagnostics configuration

Hi Basis Gurus,

i would like to thank SDNers and especially BASIS folks who share their views and opinions . today i am analyzing the SMD configuration and stuck with some doubts. any views on following doubts will be highly appreciated...

1. I have SMD agents already installed on the managed ABAP & JAVA systems which came with SAP installation... i would like to know if these agents are sufficent as part of SMD agents installation on managed systems ?

2. tcode in solution manager to access Solution manager diagnostics screens and further configuration...

3. configurations to be done in the willy interoscope furtheto access the data of managed system...

Akhil what's the version of your Solution Manager & SMD Agents on the Managed systems??

Hi Jaydeep,

the version ofwilly is 8 and SMD agents are of NW 7.0 SR3. please comment or provide if you have any url links for the SMD configuration.

Yes, SMD agents that installed with SAP installation is sufficient

many many thanks for your time ans efforts in answering my queries. I really appreciate your knowledge.

i cant see agent administration in the below navigation.

T-code - solman_workcenter --> goto Tab ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS --> Agent Administration.

i could see only root cause analysis. and under that no agent administration is available.

2. and more over i cant see the tabs of introscope tab also under end to end analysis. i think there is some issue with the configuration.
