Unrestricted Stock

Hello All,

I checked a material in MB52, and all are allocated to a Sales Order. But some are in Unrestricted stock and some are not in Unrestricted stock. What is the reason for this and what do I need to check? Thanks so much.

Bust still Check in QA32 entries of material documents & sales order.Then compare with Mb51.

THanks for the quick reply. I checked my material in MB52. All line items for that specific plant/storage loc have Special stock number (sales order number). But some lines in MB52 have values in Unrestricted stock, and some have none. What is the reason for this? I did a random check on the Sales ORders, PRs and POs of that material, but I cannot see any difference. All have GRs. Howcome some go to Unrestricted and some dont? Thanks!

some of them might have inspection type with post to inspection active & some of them not have..

check QM view --->Inspection types.

which inspection types are active for the material & "Post to inspection " is active.

Probably inspection type 10 is active for material which are in QI against sales order.
