Substitution at Header Level

Dear All,

Hw Can I Substitute profit center to business area and business area to profit center at header level for customer as well as vendor. Business area feils is mandatory at header level for both customer and vendor. Only on e business palce & section code is exist.

Hi,

Can you explain what you mean by 'substituting business area to profit centre' and on 'header level'? These objects are independent and not self-subsitutable, exactly as you cannot substitute cost centre by internal order. Secondly, these dimensions are not on the header, but on item level of the document.

Hi,

I did sustitution at line item level and it is working fine.

Following Substitution i used.

Pre requisite - Company Code = '7000' and profit Center ='7000'

Profit Center substituted with business area and vice versa.

if u entered business area in one line item it is substituted profit center to same line item.

I want to sunstitute to another line item.

Is it possible or not?

Hi Mahendra,

You should put this substitution in line item level in OBBH since those fields are assigned per line item.

it's not possible with tcode OBBH, only with a substitution-exit I guess
