Filter on DTP based on datasource 0FI_GL_14

Hello Experts,

I am trying to set a filter on Account Type Koart = K on DTP having datasource 0FI_GL_14. It is strange that i do not have the filed to set the filter directly. It shows me a list of all the fields present in the datasource and from there i cannot set filter on account type.

I implemeted a code in start routine but performance wise it is not desirable.

Can any1 help me in setting the filter directly on dtp.

Hi,

If you are not able to see the required field in list of the fields click on the "Change Selection" button in the filter popup.

It will show you the complete list of available fields for filter. Drag the required field from left side to right side and click ok.

on the next screen you will see this field available for selection.

Hello,

i think the DTP on 0FI_GL_14 works differently. There is no right or left part when trying to set filter. There is the list of IO and no plae to set filter.

Hi,

In DTP you can see all the IOs not the data source fields in filter area.search for account type IO.

You can get the rest of the IOs by clicking on change selection from here you can find all the fields which are not part of filter . you can select the account type IO and set filter on it.

Hello,

I did select the Account type from the list of fields. When i click on filter icon i get language key, Field name and short description. No where to set filter value K for account type.
