Hi Experts

We have a requirement for sending Over Days Due Collection work list item to Third Party from Collections Management.

What is the process for sending to 3rd Party ? Is there a BADI involved or so.

Please provide details in a step wise.

Thanks

Regards,

This sounds like a process lead solution rather than system lead.

Will the 3rd party have access to SAP?

You could create a collection group - call it 3rd party and move customers to the group.

If there is an issue with the debt, some customers move the debt to a special GL in AR to remove it from core reporting.

Hope this helps.

Please see my reply here.....

Will the 3rd party have access to SAP? -- Not known at the moment. What if 3rd party has access to SAP it will be interface right? if it's not does it become the solution of uploading the file obtained from the 3rd party into SAP?

You could create a collection group - call it 3rd party and move customers to the group. --- Does this solution is advisable when 3rd party is not having SAP or if the client wants to handle by himself. In which scenarios it is advisable ?

Is this approach advisable if the client wants to handle the debt with in AR itself.

Please note some of your questions could be deemed as consulting and I would advise you to seek the correct advise.

However, moving the debt to a new collection group - would assume that the 3rd party agency had access to SAP. This way all of the previous notes would be available and you would be able to report on their progress. This would lead to licence implications.

If you want to allow a 3rd party to work on their own systems you would have to interface the debt to their systems. This can be complicated, especially mapping data. It can be done, however this could be just as costly.

When making these decisions, you need to consider the volume and value of customers the 3rd party would be managing and how you would want to report on this.
